£57m Cardiff Eastern Bay Link Road works set to begin

It's more a question of money than of engineering. The Welsh Government has given priority to dualling the Heads of the Valleys road in the highways budget. Given how horrible and dangerous that road is, I can't say I blame them. It does mean there's precious little money for anything else though.

The irony is that it would be seen as more money for Cardiff but really it would help people trying to get from say Barry to Newport bypass Cardiff.
