Totally agree and I thought this one was a runner - and we don't know for sure at the moment that it isn't.

If cancelled I guess next in line of this kind of height would be the Bayscape Tower. I'm more hopeful on that one now, especially with the site being prepared for commencement of first phase. But it was the location of the Hope Street Tower that really appealed to me (apart from the height!). If the Watkin Jones project is cancelled what then for this tiny plot of land I wonder? perhaps the size of the site is the very reason that this desired project is in doubt? That said it hasn't shrunk so surely those restrictions would have already been considered? still, plenty of room for a Greggs I suppose

Only thing I don't like about bayscape is the location, it's almost in penarth
