It does seem to be a "love it or hate it" building... I'm firmly on the "love it" side though. The trio of the Millennium Centre, Pierhead Building and Senedd has become iconic for the city.

I adore the Pierhead Building! It's such a shame that Merchants House was lost as it would have really added more to that frontage.

I love the Millenium Centre too, although it's in the wrong spot, as it's too hidden and it should be called the Cardiff Opera House. I get whole "Millenium" thing because of the funding, but why does it have to have "Wales" in the title? It just makes us seem so small.

I can't stand the Senedd building, it won't age well at all and the boring, ugly, unimaginative red-brick office section behind it does little to add value to it.

I must admit I do love the millennium center, but as for the senedd I do not like it at all.

Atradius and RWCMD for me. WMC and the Senedd try too hard.

So the crane is going up over next weekend, 130 metres of it! I thinks a few of us like minded 'crane admirers' are going to be pretty impressed! - I'm one of them! and I'm looking forward to this

Good news that the tower crane being constructed! 130 meter :O

Does anyone know the revised plans for the height of the tower? I've heard its 80.7m instead of 82. Can anyone clarify?

Why not have a branch of the samaritans on the 26th floor, if the student debt gets too much buying alcohol in the treatment centre.
