NIMBYs in the Valleys?

I'm not sure what you think is wrong with Grangetown - it's walk to city or bay and lots of local shops plus a lovely little park and a river. If I had a limited budget and was looking to establish a home, that's where I'd go.

I bought my first house in Grangetown (Saltmead ). 10 minutes from the city centre, 10 minutes from Leckwith/City Stadium, 15 minutes walk from the Bay. It's no Canton where I previously rented but it's good value and a good location. Up and coming as some estate agents might say

Oh God I'm deluded - I live in Grangetown and think that it's a great place to live!!!

People are moving out of the valleys to find better employment and quality of life/environment. Where are they going?

... Cardiff.

Might be 1,100 fewer in a few weeks time.
