Planning Application has gone in for Victoria Secret and as recently predicted, the sales area will all be on one level.

VS PINK will be a total of 3 rooms located on the left hand side of the unit. Victoria Secret will be a total of 4 rooms occupying the right hand side of the H&M unit and the [to be] incorporated Luke unit. Looks like a sizeable store and a really attractive store front.

The sunglass hut store is gotta be the former Alba Rose / Olly & Nic store, right?

That's my guess mate! Seems ideal in terms of location, layout and size!

Good find. Although those negotiation units seem to come off only intermittently. Think they also mis-coloured a few in the Cathedral Walk arcade - fair few of them are empty and don't have "to be X" in them.

I wonder which one American Eagle will go for. The old DV8? The old Blue Inc?

Apparently Missguided did a site visit recently, so I'm guessing they are a potential tenant for one of the Upper Grand Arcade units which are currently in negotiation. I'm thinking MSU05 or UG46/47?

I believe American Eagle Outfitters are opening in UG13/14 which is the former Armani Exchange unit. I recently spoke to one of the managers at Hugo Boss and she told me that they're being pressured to vacate their temp unit asap.

After viewing these plans, I think Sunglass Hut are most definitely opening in the old Alba Rose unit considering it's in solicitors hands.

Hats off to JLL who seem to be doing a brilliant job with the lettings! These are the most promising letting plans in a long time... Nice to see all the Upper Grand Arcade units are at least in negotiation (with the exception on UG29) haha!

That looks to me like a bit of creative colouring in to make the centre look fuller than it actually is.

There is an application in for change of use to A3 for the unit currently let on a temp basis to Hugo Boss (previously Armani Exchange) in the Upper Grand Arcade. Apparently SD2 are in advanced discussions with a food and drink operator.

I think this makes sense with Shake Shack opposite and will make the Eastside eating zone more symmetrical. Any ideas who the food and drink operator is/could be?

I attended a centre retailers meeting this morning led by centre management and I can confirm that the unit which mirrors Shake Shack (UG13/14) is in negotiations with a Thai chain restaurant operator. Not sure which one but they seem keen to proceed quickly.

(Potential tenants could either be BUSABA EATHAI or Chaophraya who are both currently expanding within the UK.)

Additionally MSU06 and LG28/29 are in the process of being imalgatmated into one unit and an unnamed restaurant operator are finalising contracts with the solicitors.

The former Blue Inc unit (29/31) is currently in solicitors hands with a footwear retailer! Any guesses here?

American Eagle Outfitters have exchanged contracts for UG46/46 which is the former DV8 unit...
