Rushing through the centre last night I notice that Currys PC World is now called Currys PC World Carphone Warehouse. I don't know if this means the Carphone Warehouse 30 seconds walk away is affected.

Probably not, they're merging with a well known bakery and there are to be around 100 Currys PC World Carphone Warehouse Greggs stores in town alone

Nope, Carphone Warehouse shop has closed.

Looks like Foot Locker are going in the unit previously occupied by Blue Inc on Town Wall. Not sure if this is a second store or a relocation from Queen Street.

It's for 10-12 Town Wall South which I think is the old Blue Inc unit (I think it's the only unit in that stertch of the centre that is currently empty).

Edit - yes it's definately Blue Inc. The planning app has a picture of the xisting shop front.

I guess this must be a relocation rather than a second store. If so thats a bit of a blow to Queens Arcade.

I imagine that they're moving for a bigger unit, the current store is pretty small.

It's going to be a Thaikhun, which is basically Wahaca with Thai food.

Christ, that group own Dixons too, suprirsed they arent called Dixons Currys PC World Carphone Warehouse
Maybe their name will just get longer and longer as they acquire more companies...
