Build a Bear Workshop are expanding into the unit next door in St Davids Centre. Not vey exciting but at least it's one less empty unit.

That's about as good as it's going to get down that neck of the woods, so all in all not bad news! I should imagine they'll refurbish the new store in line with the new Build A Bear format and design, which is actually quite nice considering its just a toy shop!

The hoardings around the two units carry their new branding. They've temporarily moved to a spare unit (I think the old Holland & Barrett just across the way)

I had seen somewhere that this was going to be another catering unit and was either signed or close to signing. Didn't we have a change of use go through planning permission for this?

Apparently the potential occupier pulled out.

Isn't the former Inspired Cookwear unit where the Lush Spa is going? Perhaps I incorrectly assumed that because it has been a spa previously?

Their financial forecast didn't balance and therefore they pulled out. I never managed to find out who the potential tenant was, but I confirm that they have scrapped all of their plans.

Lush Spa are opening in the M&Co unit on Queen Street opposite the SD1 entrance. Will be nice to see this stretch of Queen Street occupied once again.

Just to confirm, planning apps show Timberland going in the old Carphone Warehouse unit - CW has moved in with Curry's PCWorld.

So as well as opening a spa are they relocating their normal store to the same unit as the spa?
