Size are opening in the other half of the Mamas & Papas store! Opening this month...

Is that a relocation from Queen Street or an additional store?

I think its probably a relocation - the Bank/Size unit on Queen Street has been "to let". Seems Size wanted to relocate. Not sure if Bank did too, or whether they just want to pull out of the centre and focus on their Bay retail park store.

If they are already making the move to St Davids, perhaps that means Bank/Size have found a new retailer to take on the lease of their Queen Street stores.

G Star has closed down in the Upper Grand Arcade.

The brand is dying out nationwide

There appears to be an application in for a mini/crazy golf course in the unit previously occupied by Gilly Hicks. I can't really get my head around how it's going to work but the application is listed in w/c 15th September.

I'm guessing it will be similar or part of the same chain that operates in Cabot Circus:

looks bloody weird! But judging by the photos of the Liverpool branch of that - even if a different brand - it would probably work in Cardiff

It's a shame that these retail units can not attract fashion brands! A Mini Golf course on the Grand Arcade will be completely bizarre & I can't imagine there being a huge demand for it during the week due to its location...

In other news the escalators infront of Superdry and Hollister have been removed. Opens up the space between Superdry and Dune really nicely - Should also increase footfall down by Crocs and Kamigita!

A little update for you all, Size & MAC have opened their new stores in the Grand Arcade! Really nice store fits for both brands

The Wolverine Company store in the Grand Arcade has closed down!
