Passing on the train earlier & imaging the four new towers. Whilst not Blade Runner it will be impressive sight.

Looks like a basement has been added to the plans with an increase in height of 600mm to the building.

I momentarily read that as 600 metres rather than millimetres and almost suffered a small heart attack.

I reckon the roof height is now 82m
Hard to find an actual figure as they just list floor height??

Those plans are old, there was going to be a basement but it's now been designed out.

Work does seem to be progressing on demolition but I don't think we'll see that tower crane this week Hopefully all demolishing finished next week and then thoughts can turn to construction! Going by that programme of works they seem to be 2-3 weeks behind. When that tower crane does get built, it'll be the tallest since maybe 1967! when the capital tower was constructed and this one is 2metres taller! Let's hope all goes well for this development and Watkin Jones will be inspired to crack on with that other one!!
