Absolutely. After eighteen years in power in Wales, Labour seem to see no real difference between the party and the government. With the party almost bankrupt and the party machine rusting away they are increasingly using public money for their own party political purposes - witness the recent controversy about Labour assembly candidates being invited along to ministerial visits and photo ops.

We desperately need a viable alternative government - an endless hegemony by any party is unhealthy.

That's the issue with the left - they confuse the concept of party and state and often use taxpayers money for their own ends. Welsh labour are no different from the SED in that respect

Isn't it more a case of accepting reality? We've seen and heard it all before. What are the incumbent welsh government doing to expedite the development of the metro? How much further forward are we in having a metro than say 2011? Or 1999?
