Wish they'd get on and start!

I noticed today that the plot for number 4 has been totally cleared, I'm assuming for storage of materials for number 3 but it would be nice if number 4 was starting soon.

JCB's on site marking out CQ4. Also workmen & vans on other side of canal today.

I noticed the nunber 4 plot being marked out today, it would be great if that is actually starting, I can't see why else they'd be doing it.

As for the student tower the other side of the canal there's nobody there today so maybe a site visit of some sort in advance of starting? I saw some people inspectkng the plot before Xmas as well so hopefully a start soon.

It'll be interesting to see if they build the student tower (Herbert St) before Plot No. 5, which is also a tower.

Hopefully they are and not just puting in drainage connections.

I have to admit im getting confused by it all. I know that so far we have had the driscoll buildings, numbers 1 and 2 with 3 under construction. I take it number 4 is next to that by the car park and the student buildings are between 1 and 2 and the driscoll buildings. So what is going on the other side of the feeder

The "Herbert Street Site" is across the dock feeder. That's been converted from residential to Student accomodation.

No. 5 Capital Quarter is the other tower, which was earmarked for residential flats. It'll be interesting to see if they're actually going ahead with that now or pick it up later.
