It'll be a little whiles before anything major happens. As I said before, there's a lot of stuff that needs approval from external parties before works can commence.

But it is happening! Short of a financial crash will get this tower.

Im so excited and happy that works are at least being made towards this possible tower - I honestly didnt think this would advance further than a proposal.

As nice as it will be to have such a tall building, I really wish these old buildings still lined Custom House St.

The client has gone with a different consulting engineer, who has made a number of suggestions that could save money. These things happen on large projects. Some may know that Arup lost the Shard to WSP.

It's now being described as Wales' tallest residential building that will get going this year. So hopefully that will happen.

assumption on my part but I take it this means it won't be 42 storeys, more like 32-35???

There's no change to the height that I'm aware of, but we'll have to wait and see.
