I put a comment on their Facebook page, advising of certain inaccuracies in their stories and they were corrected, non the less as many have pointed out, research isn't one of their strong points.

It's a great idea to get people trained in construction but I don't think £6.50 for 1,100 people shows a real commitment to this project

This is the headline at your link:

"£6.5 deal with create a construction centre in Swansea to train more than 1,000 people a year."

Just saw this...

http://www.walesonline.co.uk/whats-on/s ... s-11183647

"Live coverage" of the opening of Michael Kors in Cardiff and an article explaining "how they covered it". What is this guff? Did one of their 'reporters' just fancy a trip to the shop in working hours and decided she could justify it by writing some twaddle about it? Or is this in effect an advertorial?

Maybe they are trying to show potential future journalists how to do it? or not!

There was disappointment when the old outlet in Wood Street - a popular haunt for commuters as it was right on the doorstep of Cardiff Central Station - closed its doors for the last time .But it's already been replaced with this swanky new shop just a stone's throw away which is open to customers from today.

I wonder how much Greggs paid for this advert...

OK, this is the kind of article we may like on here. But it shows the slapdash 'research' now being done at Walesonline.
a) What it lists as 2 Central Square is in fact the BBC HQ, which I think is 3 Central Square.
b) The picture for the station redesign is from a previous set of plans. More recent plans, which aren't so grand, and feature a flat rather than wavey roof were published in Walesonline last year.
c) Callaghan Southside is listed as having the potential to include 50,000 square feet of office space - they mean 500,000 square feet!
