18,500 is a very good crowd....it is not that long ago when CCFC were playing in front of crowds half that size at Ninian Park...

Enjoy...

The sheer number of games may have affected Saturdays' attendances.
Wales v Austria next Saturday is the sixth competitive game at the stadium since the beginning of August.
Watching football can be an expensive hobby.

Swansea by contrast have only played one game at home to date.

Paul, I agree that the rebrand was awful for City. Many long term fans left and found other things to do on a Saturday. Other fans less loyal used the rebrand as an excuse to not bother anymore after our successes in our promotion and Premiership season.

I didn't watch City when they were in red but I am a big enough man to bury the hatchet and acknowledge that Tan has been by far the best owner in my lifetime (Hammam, Ridsdale, Guy, Hall, Kumar etc were greedy vultures). Success will bring the latent support slowly back and Warnock is doing a cracking job of making amends with the fanbase.

This season feels special. If we don't make the playoffs, we still have August 2017

Don't know where else to post this, but IF, and that's a big IF, we carry on playing as we are, our training ground plans maybe realised in Hensol, just north of their current training ground at the Vale:

Fulham 1 1 Cardiff City

You know when you've got a 100% record and you draw a game it feels a little disappointing! REALITY CHECK: We were away - fulham are a good side - we came back from 1 down (following excellent substitutions) - and perhaps most significantly Warnock had the manager of the month curse hanging over him!! So all in all a great result and we're still top of the league although a win on tuesday will now be very welcome - the dream is still very much alive BLUEBIRDS

Preston 3 - 0 Cardiff

Wow a grim night for the Bluebirds up North!!

Sheff Weds on Saturday to hopefully prove that our incredible start wasn't a flash in the pan, what's happened to our superstars? I blame player of the month - manager of the month and £30 million transfer talk :? . Still we have got some great players and a manager who will hopefully know how to put us back on the straight and narrow - roll on saturday!
