The pub looks great and could be the latest piece in the puzzle for life returning to Churchill Way. I think they'll regret the choice of name though. It's not going to show up nicely on Google searches and may be confused with the City Arms next to Cardiff Arms Park.

I don't know, I quite like it. It's an iconic name and certainly better than The Churchill Arms in my view!

I think the striking building will do a lot of the heavy lifting rather than the name anyway. Will be nice to have what looks like a real pub opening rather than just another trendy bar.

Having said that, I did venture into The Dock Feeder recently and it's a really beautiful venue. Nice to see some variety on Churchill Way and this new pub will only add to that.

I walked that area on the weekend and its got a nice feel to it. Whatever people think of the dock feeder/canal - it attracts people.

The jury is out on this new pub until I know for sure that the brand new modern doors are to be replaced - otherwise their whole concept is flawed...

The visual shows a brand new frontage with traditional pub doors. I wouldn't be surprised if the existing 'brand new' doors date back to the days of it being Tandy (about 30 odd years ago).
