Brains to sell 40 pubs nationwide, locations not named yet but you'd assume some would be in Cardiff. Surely 33 Windsor Place will be one to go.

Tiger Tiger Cardiff will be closing its doors for the final time.

It’s been an incredible 15+ years for the venue as we have watched Cardiff grow into a beautiful, diverse capital city.

To all the staff, DJ’s and customers that have visited us over the years we thank you for being part of our journey, but all good (& bad) things must come to an end.

We find it only fitting to be having our farewell party on Saturday 14th March when our mighty Wales play Scotland, we hope you will all join us to celebrate for the final time.

Tiger Tiger Cardiff has been sold to The Shoreditch Bar Group who will comment soon on what the future has in store for the site.

A new Brew Monster is opening in Mermaid Quay. In the old Moksh place opposite Tesco. Not much progress but they've got the sign up.

That's great news. Brew Monster, will do a world of good for increasing footfall on that little stretch as it does struggle to attract visitors. It's always good to see new non-chain businesses opening up in Mermaid Quay, it's needed. I'm also surprised to see two new non-chain bars open up during a pandemic!

Which is the other one opening up?

Just been down. Gin and Bake is open now. Seems like work going on in a few places down the Bay.
And what has happened to Moksh? Seemed to he an award winning restaurant...

Moksh oved to the other side of the street, not sure if they are open yet?
