Walked past today, looks like they have cleared some of the plant life and revealed how much damage it has done. You can really see how much of a bad condition it is in, especially the other facades

looked like they were removing some of the water that had accumulated, lots of noise of work being done, the exterior is in real poor shape

It doesn't surprise me. When I've walked past before it's looked seriously the worse for wear. Still I can't believe the buyers haven't done a proper survey so they must think it is salvageable at a reasonable cost.

Looks like a lot of work but I hope they pull this off! This could be the catalyst for the total regeneration of the bay!

There's a place called Octavo's on West Bute St that sounds quite interesting. Away from the very generic Mermaid Quay perhaps this could the an interesting little area.
