Firstsource Solutions has invested in its second contact centre in Cardiff at Oakleigh House

Global outsourced customer service specialist Firstsource Solutions is creating a further 300 jobs in Cardiff as it today unveils its second contact centre in the capital.
The new centre at Oakleigh House comes four years after the opening of Firstsource’s flagship facility in the city which currently employs 1,000 people at Discovery House in Cardiff Bay.
Its new operation, in the city centre, will make Firstsource one of the largest contact centre employers in Cardiff.
The new roles are a combination of full and part-time. The expansion by Indian-owned Firstsource is being supported by both the Welsh Government and Cardiff council.

Firstsource works with UK and international companies across the financial, retail, telecommunications and media sectors to provide them with dedicated customer contact teams and end to end customer experience solutions.
First Minister
At the official opening of Oakleigh House, Carwyn Jones, First Minister for Wales said: ‘I am delighted that Firstsource has chosen to continue to expand its operations in Cardiff, creating opportunities for new jobs and further cementing its role as an important employer in the local area.
"The fact that it has done so is testimony to the talented workforce that we have on offer in our city, and I wish Firstsource and the new team at Oakleigh House the very best of luck."

Gavin Snell, president, customer management at Firstsource, said: ‘Opening our new facility in Cardiff is an exciting time for Firstsource.

"Our new centre we will be able to build on our services as well as offering exciting new employment opportunities in the local area.
