Its the latter Bay Pointe that was "Mini Manhattan". The first rounded towers plan was more Dubai-esqe. I actually quite liked the latter plan, I must say.

Still not clear to me how the Cardiff Pointe scheme is doing. It seems to be progressing rather slowly which I think is indicative of the fact that they still don't have their pricing right. I think some people are going to get hit hard when they try selling on.

Merchant's Place. It's a shame about this scheme, as it was an mixed use that would have seen some quite nice historic buildings being brought back to life.

I know they were weather-proofed a few years ago but the interiors of both the old Post Office and the Cory building must be deteriorating pretty badly. I suspect that only the facades will be saved when and if anything happens on the site. Wasn't there some talk of a hotel on part of the site?
