Tower crane/s being installed today on site. I'm thinking that one of these will be v impressively tall. pics to follow after I've wandered past later ;)

Saw some yellow crane parts coming down the m4 this morning into wales on by way to Bristol. Looking at your photos could these be of the other crane base?

Second tower being built today (it does indeed look yellowish), the white one has not progressed since yesterday

I think they needed an even more powerful mobile crane to install the business ends of the cranes - hopefully we'll see that on wednesday.

In a hint to things to come, the Brains chimney is now completely dwarfed by the surrounding cranes

Yes indeed - that chimney was quite possibly the tallest structure in the city centre once.
When I did this diagram back in nov 21 I put it on to illustrate that very point you make...

any updates on this? long time no see.. been inactive for a while. would like to see any updates of this development, as after all, it’s been tipped to be even larger than central square. Diolch.

Well the site is pretty busy and I think this week we'll start to see some concrete above ground - I'll post a photo here.
Yes It's been a bit quiet here? no worries but it would be nice for a little more activity - plenty to talk about :)
