I'm not sure how you've reached that conclusion. The new car park will have 695 spaces, considerably fewer than Wood Street (508 spaces) and Central Station (426 spaces) combined.

Any idea when, specifically, they are going to start work on it?

Not really for such a big scheme! How long did it take to go from initial idea to demolition with St Davids II, for instance? m

Hopefully this move might mean Brains might actually start producing a decent pint. They are way behind the likes of Fullers, Badger, Youngs, St Austell, McEwans, Shepherd Neame. Even the smaller local brewers like Glamorgan, Crafty Devil, Gower etc are producing far better quality and much more interesting brews.

Well, considering it was meant to start early last year, then kept on getting delayed. I just hope they start working on it this time around and not delay it further.

So Cardiff Met have pulled the plug on having a campus at Central Quay then sadly.

Considering there was some student housing as well it seems that the masterplan is now already going to need to change even before the first building has started:

It will be good to see anything start there at the moment, so hopefully the Ledger building and the car park will start sometime this year, but the Uni campus was going to be in the earlier phases as well as a hotel so we'll have to wait and see what they plan instead, maybe more offices?
