Missed opportunity for Cardiff.
But I suppose that area will be 'closer' to Cardiff with the city deal.

It is a nissed opportunity for the city itself, but as I've said on here before we need other parts of the city region to grow in its offering as well. I'm curious how well public transport for events will work though.

GIven growth pattens and the metro transport, Metro region etc., isn't Zooport destined to become a suburb of Greater Cardiff?

700 underground car parking spaces with direct access to the ICC Wales.

A 2 Km rail extension, close to the Usk is all that is needed.
But the "friends of the Usk mud flats" would be out protesting.
