really? if we win our 2 remaining games we will be on 14 points in the play off group, I can't see all 8 teams having 14 points

If we win both games we are pretty much 99% guaranteed to not be bottom of the 2nd place list.
Yes, we're bottom of it now, but some of the teams in other groups still have to play the bottom team, and points against the bottom team don't count.
For us to win both games and still be the worst 2nd place it would need about 10 other results to go badly wrong for us.
