Looks bigger than I thought it was going to be. I think it will look decent when completed

The exterior layer of cladding has started going up. It looks a lot better than in the initial renders. Pretty good in fact.

Bit of a relief that, I was a but worried how it would turn out, especially in such a prominent location.

It's growing on me, but I do wonder how it'll look when the seagulls start sh*ting on it! I imagine it won't age so well after we start seeing the noticeable streaks running down the cladding.

WRW have ceased trading! doubly sad that they were a Welsh company. Anyway I wonder how long it'll take to get someone else in to complete this development. It looks like they still have quite a bit still to do?

Why does this happen in the first place? Only getting funding for part of the project instead of all? Isn't that a huge security risk?

What’s the latest? Surely they can’t be waiting for pre pandemic numbers to return now? We’re way past that. Cardiff is in desperate need of hotel rooms.

Wonder if Premier Inn are making some kind of insurance money in the meantime that hasn’t encouraged completion.
