18 story tower started down Cardiff Bay, the piledriver is currently putting in the foundations. This will definitely change the skyline down the bay.

Where is that? Is it the student accomodation for the college ?

Scaffolding going up around merchant place finally. Think it the college linked to the this tower block going up

Saw this on the weekend - brilliant. This will really change this part of the Bay for the better (even if some of the new build stuff is perhaps inappropriate). The clean up of the historic buildings is something to look forward to. This should also create some much needed vibrancy in this part of the Bay - could be good for businesses old and new...

There's a notice near the new 18 floor block, on a lamppost by the premier inn. Something along the lines of reducing number of floors and floor heights but increasing the number of student rooms.

Well the lift shaft is up to 18 floors so seems like they haven’t changed anything.
