Well that's a considerable improvement on the earlier designs at least.

It's a bit better I guess, the street is gradually increasing in height with the various developments going on.

The Cardiff Bay station redevelopment was approved as well, I really hope it actually happens, it's been an eyesore for so long.

It does look better but it looks like another building going for the portacabin on the roof design.

Hey, great! Let's get the Tramshed closed down by noise complaints!

I was about to say that given it appears to be by the developers of the Tramshed scheme (its styled as Tramshed T2), they must have thought a lot about noise. It doesn't seem so. The only reference to noise in the documentation is in the "site analysis", where it mentions road and rail noise. And says that the residential area to the south and east would "also be affected by noise from the Tramshed occupiers".

I hope the council either refuses the application or imposes conditions for very significant sound insultation.

I believe the Tramshed development already has flats within it? If this is the same company that run the place then I'm sure there's nothing worry about.

Its great news that this has finally gotten the go ahead.

With a bit of luck the last remaining Bay eyesore, the old post office, will get the same treatment.
