Princes on Portmanmoor Road, near the junction with Ocean Way, are building a sizeable extension to their juicing plant. The whole site and existing buildings always looks clean, neat and tidy. Just what you’d want from somewhere making fruit juice.

With news that capital qtr plot 5 is hopefully progressing as a build to rent development... I wonder if the proposed watkin jones tower at custom house st will re-emerge as build to rent? This tower as student accommodation seems unlikely with plenty of large developments for students underway and the whole student accommodation situation seemingly having passed a saturation point?

I was just back in Cardiff for a week (currently live in Vancouver) and it's great to see all of the developments.

Which building is going up behind the Radisson? Additionally, is the graphic on the top of the development page up-to-date? I'm sure it's missing a few buildings.

Do you you mean the Herbert Street student tower that's currently being clad? It's this https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/work-begins-student-skyscraper-includes-13784984

There's another planned on the John Street plot directly behind the Radisson. The second phase of that has a mixed-use office and hotel planned https://www.insidermedia.com/insider/wales/27-storey-tower-block-poised-for-green-light

They are just starting the first phase office now I think, a ten floor office, on the southern most plot.

I'm not sure that the activity at John St is the start of the john st development mentioned?

Hopefully it is but I'm thinking this is more to do with railway work which Bam Nuttall are heavily involved in?

There seems to be activity at the site on Fitzalan Place. Wonder if it's to do with the new tower being built?

A planning application has been submitted for screening opinion for the demolition of labdore court and construction of an 18 story apartment building, looks like the taller building has been scaled back a bit
