 Yes they should be a bit more positive about this city? maybe they read the comments to often and believe that those miserable backward thinking negative types reflect all of their readership?

Best policy is to never read those comments, I just can't help myself sometimes though.

Any estimate as to when the tower construction will start?

Well don't get too excited Kyle but they are having a planning meeting webcast NOW!! so I don't know if likely start date may crop up as part of the discussion? You can see the "action" here...

Wales online have posted it again on twitter and there are comments “great more student flats”. People just comment without even reading the title.

WALESONLINE:
"The huge block would loom over the city and Butetown area"

Blimey it's not the Burj Khaliffa - even I think that may look a little overpowering for Curran Road? (ok maybe not  )
and I maybe wrong but from most of Butetown it will not even be visible!! Anyway I'm so glad that the planning department are not influenced by the peculiar negativity of our local paper.

Proposed Curran Road tower:

If it looks like that, it would be a nice addition

Not the best off my phone but it’s a nice view of the small crane village that has appeared over the last few weeks

I found these plans for castle street online, very interesting.

I love the idea of them removing the subway.
