Not a development as such but I'm surprised we haven't heard from Jantra today, probably wanting to know if comrade Hart will be instituting 3 days of national mourning. How about a minute's silence at the rugby - for Fidel not Wales!

There is an application in for discharge of conditions for the proposal to conmvert Caradog House in St Andrews Place into student accommodation. It looks as thouigh this is ready to commence shortly although to my knowledge the building is still occupied by the Employment Tribunal.
The images actually look quite good and there is a lot of reconstituted stone panelling in a similar hue to that used in SD2 rather than white render and beige brick.

Herbert StreetThey've tidied this site up - removed vegetation etc. I wonder, is that an indication that the proposed development is about to get underway?

Hopefully yes. I can't think of any other serious reasons why a developer would spend money on a site that wasn't going forward.
