Anyone know what's going on with the huge earth movements at the back of IKEA/Clive Lane on the old branch rail line

Anyone else see this from CCC? I think relocating Channel 4 to Cardiff would be fantastic for the city and the developing creative industries that we already have here.

It would be a hell of a gain for the city if it did happen, I wonder if two of the bigger cities such as Birmingham but particularly Manchester would be more likely though?

I think Manchester would be more likely than Birmingham, but to be honest, they're doing just fine at the moment. There is a huge amount of investment and business going in the Manchester at the moment.

But this really would be a massive boost for Cardiff if it were to come off.

Yeah, I've seen photos of that model a few times.

Just think how different (and awesome) Cardiff is going to be once:
-Capital Quarter is finished
-Central Square is finished
-Two Watkin Jones towers are finished
-Brains Site is finished
-Dumballs Road development is finished
-Arms Park is redeveloped
-Metro is in place
-Maybe, just maybe Callaghan Sq is finally finished!

It's nice to dream!

Where is the herbert st tower in this picture?

The Herbert street tower is behind/to the right of Altolusso, this model also seems to show the residential tower proposed for the last plot at capital quarter. I see what you mean about Bridge st - now according to the info available to us concerned about such matters! Bridge St is a couple of foot taller than capital tower? maybe capital tower is taller than 80metres? it always seems to be shown as that height.
