Looks very elegant, if a little bit strange next to the low rise Lloyds building.
Please don't say its more Student Accommodation!

Historians will look back at UK city development and conclude that in the first decade of the 21st century 'students' suddenly needed to breath thinner air, so developers all over the land offered their help. They might also conclude that a strange leader they voted for came to power and taxed the developers so much that none of the building ever came to pass, alas the 'students' as they were called gradually died out.

The balconies would suggest it's residential. The mixed use bit is probably just a cafe on the ground floor or something.

This seems to be in roughly the same location as the Trade St. apartments that are underway?

Isn't it a bit further down, where a godawful student tower was rejected a couple of years ago?

I would guess it is going here judging by the angle from road in the foreground (this will pinpoint better on a computer than a phone)

having looked at the render again I'd say it was the small plot of land directly in front of St William House, where that small car park is.

Yes I would agree with that
Also at 25 stories it's got to be close to 80m hasn't it??

For Jantra's positoning to be correct and for the alignment of Penarth Road and the two office buildings to be correct this would need to be sitting on a tiny corner of the car park, my money would still be slightly behind/between the two offices on the small triangle of land to the west of Curran Road where theres currently a small office and surface car park.

I reckon it's where an office was proposed back in 2014...

If this is the case then it would be very much overlooking the trade street apartments - we're getting more manhattan by the hour!! Looking forward to finding out more on this one!
