Yeah, I read they were planning to open this year the other day. Not sure why they mothballed it for so long but good that it's back on.

Bayside Brasserie has reappeared at Mermaid Quay, after having to make way for the new cinema. It is upstairs next to Zizzi.

In addition to this, I can see KFC have applied to operate from the old Chinese Buffet restaurant opposite House of Fraser on Mary Street.

I can't seem to find the Taco Bell planning app?

I only said to a friend last week that it's weird that KFC have yet to either move from the lower end of Queen Street or opened up a second restaurant on or near St Mary's.

We can all moan that KFC and Taco Bell are just more chains being added to our high street but these will do well here.

I think we'll see quite a few fast food operations looking to open in St Mary Street given the number of office workers due to relocate to Central Square.

The new Pret seems to be doing very well and I'm quite surprised that BK haven't sought a site to replace the branch they had in Marland House.

Why hasn't anybody taken over Pure Sport? It's been empty for years, such a prime location!

It doesn't have a licence it's in the Cumulative Impact Zone (which now covers the whole of the city centre but is due for a review soon).
