A planning application has gone in for the Scope shop next to Pulse on Churchill Way. Change of use to A3 (Food & Drink, Restaurant, Delicatessen & Snack Bar). The shop closed down over lockdown.

The covering letter states it will be "operating as a delicatessen, restaurant and sandwich bar with internal and external seating plus takeaway element".

By The Sea by Alana Spencer is the latest signing announced for Mermaid Quay. The cafe is due to open in April/May.

Looks like it's going in the old wine bar, two doors down from Costa. Five coffee shops within a minutes walk of each other, plus Gregg's. Awful lot of coffee in Cardiff Bay.
