That's a funny old picture ;)

Seems like a good idea but as I think has been mentioned before it really needs dualling as far as Newport Road to make a difference. A much bigger scheme.

Looking at the Wales.gov expenditure, apart from money spend on websites, drone videos, bat surveys the competing companies must provide evidence to a community benefit. I thought the benefit is that they got a new road?
If they just spent the money on tarmac and concrete they could dual it to M4

No Fit State Circus
A contribution of £650 has been made
for the purchase of tickets for
disadvantaged children and their
families and a commitment to
purchase 4 tickets for staff to attend a
performance

Willows High School
£2000 Donation to go towards
improving the outdoor space. During
a meeting with the School Council. It
was agreed that the £2000 would be
used to cover the cost of dismantling
a MUGA from the John Kane Centre,
150 Thornhill Road, Cardiff and
relocating it to the school yard.
Total cost £10,000

Cardiff Prison
AR to set up a training programme for
inmate at Cardiff Prison by working
with Working Links and the Probation
Service. 10 individuals will complete a
H&S course and complete a CSCS
test. This will be followed up with a
site work experience placement for a
limited number of participants
Total Cost £600

An impressive bit of road building, what a pity it ends in a roundabout at both ends!

I agree, especially as it looks like they are doing the earthworks for the ramp at the tunnel end. I was hoping a second phase would complete the flyover once the link is opened and could act as a diversion during the bridge construction.

If you look in St David's 2 you can see a huge map of a potential Cardiff metro. I was quite surprised to see this whole area being included. Ambitious to say the least!

I think that's the "I loves the 'diff" underground map, which is a novelty item rather than a serious proposal http://www.ilovesthediff.com/cardiffunderground.html
