Fingers crossed - it's a hell of an eyesore!

The Pilotage is indeed going to be a Bills. I guess if it has to be a chain, this is the least of all evils. Funny how Cote in the Bay has expanded into Mill Lane while Bills in Mill Lane has expanded into the Bay.

And the latest gossip is that Cafe Rouge (the nearest neighbour to Bills) is leaving at the end of May. There is talk of Carluccio's taking its place. Seems like the Quay is becoming a mirror of the restaurant area at the bottom of The Hayes.

They are mirroring each other true:
Carluccio
Wagamama
GBK
Cote
Bill's
Las Iguanas

Cafe Rouge restaurants are all appalling, terrible food. Can't believe that anyone goes there at all.

See, I find them a little hit and miss. Their duck and chiken dishes are awful. But their beef dishes are nice enough in my view. Prefer Cote however.

I think Cote is currently the best of the chains in the Bay, and certainly has the friendliest staff, but Bills and Carluccios may give them a bit more of a run for their money.

Cafe Rouge is a big swiz. Nothing is fresh. It all gets sent in like microwave meals.
