Victoria’s Secret are closing down in St. David’s. Unsurprising news - they’ve closed several flagship stores in recent years, with all new store openings occupying smaller units (in the 5,000sq ft) region.
https://www.cardiffnewsonline.com/victo ... l46zAQvQBQI’d like to think this closure was landlord-led, to accommodate the store requirements of another retailer. This unit is perfect for Uniqlo who are currently expanding across the UK. Openings in Liverpool, Glasgow and Birmingham are confirmed for later this year, with a Leeds opening also on the horizon. MSU08 is the only suitable unit in the city for Uniqlo’s store design and size requirements - surely Cardiff is on their radar!
It’ll be interesting to see whether Victoria’s Secret choose to downsize and reopen in Cardiff (similarly to what they did in Bristol)… The previous Morphe could be suitable.
