The plan shows just what a complex building SD2 is. When you walk through as a shopper the layout appears simple, yet there is that extensive hidden network of corridors, stairs and lifts, which presumably connect to the service area in the basement. Not to mention the parking structure and residential blocks on the upper levels. Pretty impressive when you think about it.

This is now open and branded "Be Inspired by Bonmarche" which must be some sort of concept they're trialling.

Laings will be opening a mono-brand OMEGA store in St. Davids this spring! The 838 Sq Ft store will be located in the unit previously occupied by Keihl’s.

More retail units on Hayes going over to food and drink. This time the units previously occupied by Crabtree & Evelyn, Radley and Links of London destined to become Thai restaurant The Gigling Squid. Would be good to see some new retail names opening like Space NK and Zara Home...

Very uninspiring...shame to hear about the Noodle Bar...hoped it would at least be LEON. So many names missing from Cardiff that could push it forward a bit...Zara Home, Space NK, Anthropologie. A champagne style bar on the upper level would be good too. On more positive news I understand that Caravel shoes are opening...presumably next to Kurt Geiger as its another of the brands. Russell and Bromley would be nice too

Agreed. I really did hope LEON would take that space. Perfect sized unit in a good location for them. Shame it's another Chopstix.

Yes, Carvela are going to occupy unit LG30. Apparently opening within the next month!

Vision express refit is coming on nicely,
it’s a flagship style refit only somewhat scaled back compared to other flagship stores.
In other news, the ivy Asia are apparently fitting a back lit flooring system at a cost of £4million, similar to the one fitted in the St Paul’s london store
