Yes this picture certainly shows a larger structure at the southern end and in the middle, so it looks likely that this development will be more balanced than the most recent one. I wonder if the other end is the same height as the middle or if it steps up a bit? Well if they're starting building early next year presumably we will know soon.

A new image has been released. It's looks as if it's increased in height?

Love him or loathe him - Russell Goodway does actually get things done.

The council is a different animal when his faction of the Labour party is running things. The contrast between the curent administration and the endless dithering of the Bale/Patel years is very stark.

I can't find it.

I totally agree on the getting things done statement. I'm not a labour voter generally, but things are certainly getting done. I'm a big fan of Huw Thomas, certainly a ambitious leader who at this moment, is getting shit done!

If the drawing is accurate it looks like the awful aluminium spandrel has disappeared and the building set back a bit from Wood Street. This should make it less overpowering from the streetscape perspective.

That image is much better. I really like the information board. It gives a much more “Transport Interchange” feel than the last design, which just looked like office blocks.

The pictures look good...but we now appear to have a south block and a north block....no middle?
Build it and they will come.
Get it wrong and they will fall off.
