Well with no.4 pretty much up to full height the very last piece of the cap qtr jigsaw is that number 5 plot! maybe we'll hear something soon? or if anyone 'out there' knows more....

What I've been curious about for a few months is that the hoardings outside the development have plans on them, and on that plan plot 5 as an office, regardless of what planning permissions they have. I hope they stick to what we've seen though, it's a nice looking tower.

I'm not sure if they've got any pre-lets for number 3 and 4 yet, 3 can't be far off being ready now. Knight Frank has the top two floors of number 3 as 'under offer'

Does anyone know if there is anything planned for the plot of land by Gabalfa flyover? It's between Meridian Court and St Mark's Church.

I walk past this on most days and they have cleared the site and have seen a couple of men wearing high viz jackets with clipboards.

Thought this would be a good location for a block of flats (Not student) given it's proximity to the Heath and the transport links into the center.

Dunno but if it's the plot I'm thinking it used to be used to teach kids about road safety so presumably is, or was, council owned.

That would explain why there is a road layout there with road signs. Wondered what that was all about.

I saw this on the BBC and thought you should see it:

Cardiff Blues ponder moving from Arms Park home - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/42951454

Interesting, explains why the revampt stadium has gone quiet. Where could they go?

Council sold it to a developer a few years back. It was used for motorbike learners and cycling etc, most of which happens either on the Maindy site or on real roads now. Kids are taught road safety on roads around their schools now too.

There are protected trees on site so the developer is currently moving them before they can build. Not sure what's being built though.

Actually, I do! 3 blocks of apartments with around 10 apartments each.

So B is cap qtr no 5 - very faint outline of this on that visual but looking to be approx the same height as John St Tower ie: as near as dammit 100m. Look forward to hearing more on this one.

Does anyone know what's going with the Radisson? Seems like they're taking the cladding off for some reason.
