External cladding now appearing on this, not what i expected. From the render it appears to be some kind of white stone exterior, but in reality it is a plastic (though decent quality from a quick glance from the bus) grey covering. You can make out the bottom sections in Pauls pic:

Had a closer look at this today. The cladding is actually decent, and complements the black brickwork. Was initially concerned with the colour but it’s more of a grey-beige than plain grey. Hopefully it’ll look half decent!

Had a look on Paul's pictures, looks ok doesn't it? I need to go and have a look in July when I'm home next.

It'll be interesting to see when most of it's clad how it looks overall and whether at 25 floors it will seem a bit bland or not. It's going to be quite subjective I think, and so very different to the Watkins Jones one at Bridge street that's very colourful.
