Nice to see the old Doctor Who tent go to some use!

Can't fault Cardiff City and their House of Sport investments across the city.

Can't wait to see what Cardiff will look like with all of these new developments, when they actually get completed that is...

Will be a nice little district once all these developments are in. I know town is near, but I hope plenty of ameneties are taken into account across all of the individual developments.

Well it would be nice to see this get underway, wasn't it the same outfit that needed the vulcan pub out of the way for development that never happened? - well yet anyway. The other one that seems to have been imminent for an age is the curran road tower? and whilst I'm pondering on delays etc. what will ever become of the intended 132metre truly quite tall tower at custom house st. Oh and if I can just squeeze in when will they ever complete John St phase 1 then I can finish by wondering when we may see actual construction at Central Quay!! phew :)
ps. oops I forgot to wonder if Premier Inn will be be completed in the next year or so? that's me I'm done have a great weekend one and all!! :)

Interesting news re. PWC bringing jobs to Cardiff and opening up an office of up to 100,000 sq ft. Mention of potential take up at the Callaghan Square and John Street sites, which would be great to see!

Came across this on my goggle searches!

Not sure if they're on the forum or if it's someone from the Cardiff Wales Map but not seen it in here before and thought I would share.

"The council said that a new high street will also be created following the historic central 'spine' from Cardiff Castle, through to High Street and St Mary Street, Callaghan Square and Lloyd George Avenue, ending at Cardiff Bay and the Docks. The street will include greenery, art and communal spaces."

A quote from this article.
Is there any other news/details on this new high street? Really interested in this plan but cant find anything on it...

Would love a proper high street running from the Castle to the Bay and give LGA a purpose!
