- Pull & Bear opened their new store today - it’s located in the old GAP unit (LG33/34)
- Oliver Bonas are relocating to the unit previously occupied by Reiss (LG65) - window vinyls in place and the fit-out has commenced
- Penhaligon’s appears to be closed. A hoarding has been erected in front of the unit. I’d like to think it’s closed for refurbishment or for a glass frontage to be installed

Sky Store are relocating from LG03 to LG51 to accommodate the amalgamation/reconfiguration of units MSU10, LG03, MSU01 and MSU02. As previously confirmed, JD Sports will occupy these units.

LandSec have confirmed the new JD Sports store will occupy a 32,000 sq ft space. At present, JD’s largest global store is at 27,915 sq ft at Westfield Stratford City. Whilst the upcoming St. David’s will supersede this, by the time of opening, the largest store in the JD portfolio will be at the Trafford Centre (42,000 so ft).

That's a BIG store and will be the first time the old Clas Ohlson unit has been let. Along with the former Hamley's, that fills a lot of voids for Land Sec.

With the exception of LG33 (previous Oasis) and KLG11 (Previous Mt. Fuji), the Lower Grand Arcade will be fully let for the first time ever!

American chargrilled burger chain Carl’s JR are opening their first UK restaurant in St. David’s later this year. The franchise operator is the Boparan group (who also operate Slim Chicken’s & Ed’s Easy Diner). An exact unit/location has yet to be confirmed but I imagine it’ll open on the Lower Eastside. I’d place bets on it taking over Ed’s.

In separate news, Deichmann are due to close in March, ahead of the opening of Mango. The company are seeking an alternative location, however this has apparently been fruitless so far. I’m surprised LandSec haven’t offered a favourable lease for one of the units by John Lewis. MSU05 (previous Gilly Hicks) or LG25/26 would surely be suitable units for a relocated Deichmann store?!

Agreed on Ed's, it always looks pretty empty so it would make sense to swap it for a new brand.

The units near John Lewis are habitually empty, so I'd have thought that Deichmann would be offered one of them, better than nothing. Maybe Land Sec would prefer something more upmarket, but beggars and choosers come to mind.
