It's been amazing out here, the atmosphere in Bordeaux was something else.

We weren't brilliant! but... If we could've hung on a couple of minutes more it would've gone down as one of our greatest ever battling results!! Oh well all focus on monday now - we've still got a very good chance of continuing in this competition. I guess monday is now going to be another 'biggest ever' game for Wales. Let the nerves begin!

Anyone know if there is any truth in it. ;)

I don't think there is Zach. It must be ever so disappointing for you.

Happy Days!! what an incredible performance tonight. All the team deserve massive credit! with such a great team and with superstars like Allen, Ramsey and Bale as icing on the cake - this dream hopefully can go on a little longer yet! heh maybe a fair bit longer!! things are clicking at the right time of the competition, I have to pinch myself to believe it's actually happening! Let's face it everything about the Welsh participation in this competition is wonderful - our enthusiastic, friendly and passionate fans and then the passion, togetherness and skill of our team... credit to them all! And we can relax now til the weekend in the knowledge that we have topped our group!!

Perfectly put Paul, I'm amazed at how we're doing and super happy! I was watching the England game last night and had Wales on my laptop (I was at the pub and am currently working in Oxford hence no Wales match on).
The English crowd were all cheering and clapping the Wales goals as they were flashed up on the screen which was pretty amazing and very emotional. Not sure I'd be returning the favour mind! :D

I note you waited until all 3 results were safely in before replying to my tongue in cheek remark.

Because of arguments on certain other threads I thought I would say on here how well Brussels and Belgium in general has handled things over the past few days and weeks. For a small country only 1.5 times the size of Wales using my bizzare units guide below or should Wales be 0.66 the size of Belgium I am not sure which is the definitive country measure.
Anyway I'm delighted they are still at the heart of 2016 Europe, long may this continue.

Unless of course any of you Europhiles dissagree

I don't think size matters as much as population. Wales has only a population of 3 million and football is a minority sport. Belgium is at 11.25 million and I don't think they have any other major sporting interest, although they produce some good tennis players and cyclists. Still, nowhere near the resources of say England, Germany or Italy.

I just hope they go back to playing like a group of talented individuals rather than a team when they face Wales!
