As was reported on the previous forum, Welsh Government have resurrected the plans for the Eastern Bay Link, between Queen's Gate Roundabout (at the end of the Butetown "Skislope") and the phantom roundabout on Ocean Way: see here for details and a map:
http://wales.gov.uk/topics/transport/roads/schemes/a4232/eastern-bay-link/?lang=enIt appears that funding is now arranged, as per the budget announcements today:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-29431502 BBC Wales are not hugely familiar with the project, as they state the £57 million is going to build a road which would "...connect Cardiff Bay with the A48 at Tremorfa". Whilst that would be great, I suspect the cash won't quite stretch that far!
Sooo... when will it start being built? And will the finalised plans hook up to the skislope, or will it remain redundant, as the map on WG website suggests?
