Totally agree with you. It's going to take years, we know that, but this is a good start.

St Asaph is actually Wales Youngest City, 2012 compared to Newport's 2002 8-)

I don't think It is going to be a traditional ringroad in the sense that you cannot complete a complete loop. Due to the junctions at either end being one way

ok, so we have established that not only is Newport not Wales' youngest city, but it won't be a ring road either. My initial post started badly and has gone down hill ever since

Well for the time being we haven't been told if it will have one way junctions or not. However logically as the black route chosen does not have any junctions between where it starts and finishes, it would not make sense to have them.
