Is there going to be another Tower Crane at Central Square when the car park is demolished? Or will they use the tower cranes which are already there?

At this rate, we're going to have a tower crane:building ratio of 2:1

I'd be suprised if they have the reach. Not only that, crane time is precious, so I'm guess the bus station will have its own crane.

The Exchange is going to be a big old building length wise so would one crane be enough? I can imagine 2 or 3 being needed.

I'm going for 3 as you mention quite a substantial length of the entire development - I guess we'll know later this year?

A giant dragon sculpture has been proposed to sit atop one of the new buildings at Central Square.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? I personally love the idea. It would definitely put the "imposing British buildings in front of the station" argument to bed, and we really do need a landmark in my opinion.

Everyone's going crazy about the dragon statue, saying its a waste of money..

To be honest, I think its great, if it werent on top of a building. Having a giant dragon on top of one of the most prominent buildings in the skyline, would make it look ridiculous in my eyes. It would look great on the ground though.
