Exploratory U/G works on new tower progressing well it seems!

Welsh Water said it had been caused by a third party working in the area and that its team was sent "straight to the site". It has since been repaired.

Has this tower reduced in height, it has always been 42 stories now and he timeline from the planning application talks about 40 stories?

Also now this is not a student accommodation is it residential?

I saw on the flickr page. Looks like theyre going to put up more hoardings and chnage the layout of the road slightly.

No this is the custom house site, about 50 yards closer to the station. Premier Inn on the way.

tallest in the south west UK, too. Far taller than anything in Bristol and Plymouth. Will be an issuing statement to Wales when people come here, we're not all farmers!

I think this 'when completed' will be the tallest student accommodation building in the world.
I'm not sure how up to date this link is but at the moment the tallest is a 33 story tower in London
