http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign ... are_btn_fbI might be alonehere but I don't dislike the way Altolusso rises out from behind the old stone building. I actually quite like the design of Altolusso too, although wish the finishes were higher quality.
It clearly isn't in the same league of two of the buildings posted - the league where "top position" means worst use of a historic facade or building. I'm also not sure I object to the one in Lancaster either.
Guardian architecture writers do seem to like having a little pop at Cardiff though.
