Mr Blue Sky

When the media refer to Downing Street are you aware they are referring to the uk government even though it hasn't been specifically referred to by name?

I just assumed WAG was the Welsh Arseholes Group aka Carwyn the Caring and pals. In that context it works well and fits just like a glove.

What was this thread about again? Seems to have gone off topic slightly!

I agree, but these 'Welsh Nationalists' (not my choice of words - see previous post but 2) will hijack anything and everything!

Can we just end this and call the Welsh Government the Welsh Government? If some people want to use the archaic term WAG though - that's fine by me. It's a bit like my Nain insisting that serviettes should be called napkins.

Ahem. So, can anyone confirm if the ski jump is going to used or not? The so called "artist's impression" looks more like some fag packe, rough sketch to me.

Nope I'm a businessman/entrepreneur. I choose when to work, I'm very comfortably off due to luck and hard work. I'm also a Welsh nationalist and devote much of my time to fighting the pernicious influence of little Englanders/Britnats in Wales.
Priceless
I work as a tree surgeon and I might be able to help you get that awfully big chip off your shoulder!
I did have some respect for your point of view WAG (easy to type) or Welsh Government (cumbersome but pedantry) but after that diatribe I just plain feel sorry for you.

The ski jump will not be used judging by the pdf drawings and the overall budget.

PS Would WG be acceptable? or has it to be typed out in full to prevent any usurping by those Englanders of the true Welsh values. ;)

What PDF is this please? The one listed is just a hand drawn red line rather than a proper drawing.

The contract has been awarded to Dawnus in a joint venture with Ferrovial Agroman, for a total of £27.3m.

A preferred supplier for some on here I'm sure.

Joking aside, this is good news although I really hope it's an extension of the PDR and not a new road off the queensgate south roundabout

Jantra, this line from that article makes me think it's just a new road off the Queensgate South roundabout.

The works will involve building a dual carriageway between Queens Gate Roundabout to the Ocean Way Roundabout to the east

Now I'm really pleased it's being done, it'll be an improvement, but we're in danger of just having bits of roads between roundabouts from Queensgate South right up to the eastern side of the A4232. A bit like the SDR in Newport.

I guess with little cash around this is better than nothing.
