A prime office scheme in the centre of Cardiff will be available for new tenants this summer following a multi-million pound refurbishment.

The five storey St Patrick’s House, which was occupied by the AA until last November, extends to 51,000 sq ft and is adjacent to Cardiff Central Train Station.

It will be ready of new tenants in June.

The grade A office scheme is being marketed by the Cardiff office of property advisory firm Savills at £20 a square foot.

The building, whose top floors afford views across the city, has 77 car park spacing - one of the best parking ratios for offices in the city centre.

Agent's view
Gary Carver, director of business space at Savills Cardiff, said “St Patrick’s House is ideally located in a prime office location which benefits from its immediate proximity to Cardiff Central station, John Lewis and Cardiff’s main shopping precinct St David’s.

"The building offers large open plan space over five floors and can be offered to a single occupier or on a floor by floor basis.

"The success of Central Square and Capital Quarter has proven there is pent up demand from companies looking for high quality office space in the city.

"It is likely there will be no comparable Grade A space available in the city centre when St Patrick’s House becomes available in June so we are expecting strong interest from potential tenants.”

St Patrick’s House was originally built by Rightacres Property.

The AA now occupies three floors at another office scheme that has undergone refurbishment in the centre of Cardiff, Capital Tower.

St Patrick's House is owned by Julian Hodge Bank, which has a joint development agreement with PMH.

I hope MediaWales got a good fee for that advertisement!

Not even an attempt to turn it into a news story. It almost comes straight from a press release.

The "revamping" of the exterior seems to consist solely of removing the AA sign from the building.
